CALEDONIAN CONCERT
IN THE TOWN HALL. A good wind-tip to a successful day's sport was provided in the Town RalS last evening, in the form of a grand iiation-afl concert. The seating accommodation' was taxed to itc übmosti at eight o'clock, and many were forced to stand'. A high-class frogramme was contributed by some of tike leading local' talent. A number of Highlanders who had been successful in anmexiing prices- at the sports were also among the performers. Songs were conitiriib'uted' by Messrs R. J. Young, W. J. Caton (2), F. H. Elcoate and. H. F. Green (2), and Maoame N. FieiMhrnu©, Mrs Ogilvy, Mrs Edwards, and the Masses V. Edwards ? A.T.0.L.. and M(iss Jago. A trio was also given* by Me©s!r« Elcoate, Green and Hnnn : , and a- quartette by Mrs amd Miss Edwards and Messrs H. F. Green and R. .T. Young. With his comical turns, Mr Harry Hall was successful in> keeping .the audience in roars of laughter. A. feature of the entertainment wais the grand march and reel, a.nd Hiinjlil'ancl dances* by the Highland dancers.
