A number of those present undertook to guarantee £lo.each towards goods for the stalls. At the same meeting members standing oarried a motion, expressing condolence with the relatives of the'brave French ,and English sailors who lost their lives and acted btjively in fes- , cuing passengers from .the-j steamer //Delhi. •. Tpie President, (Professor Blunt) 'stated he would seethat the resolution was conveyed .tliroug'b the proper channels.
