LONDON, December U. A deputation from the National League, which is opposed to women's svffrage, asked tOre Premier to submit the question to a referendum before legislating. The Premier (Mr Asquith) slated thlat, while ho was opposed to reicrendum, he thought in this instance it might be satisfactorily used, because the question, cut athwart all party lines.
