The- Masterton Amateur Athletic Club 'held two races, a 220 yds and 880 yds handicap, on the Park Oval yesterday afternoon. 'The results were as follow: — 22yds.—First- heat: L. Boyd, 18yds, 1; R. Messenger, 9yds, 2; M. Iggulden, 15yds. 3. Second heat: G. Hood 18yds, i; E. Fisher, 9yds, 2; G. Scrimgeour 27yds, 3. Final: Boyd 1, Hood 2, Messenger 3. Time, 2'2 3-ssecs. 880yds.—Wilton, 05yds, 1; Peed, 15yds, 2; Newland, 45yds, 3. .Time, 2 mins 10 l-ssees.
