CABLE RATES.
FIFTY PER CENT. REDUCTION,

LONDON, November 5.
Mr Herbert Samuel, PostmasterGeneral, in the House of Commons, announced a 50 per cent, reduction in the rates of uncoded public and press cable . messages to Australia. Both would he liable to be deferred. The reduction, in public messages commences on January Ist and that on Press messages immediately.
