PHTHISIS COMMISSION'S REPORT

TABLED IN THE ASSEMBLY

PERTE, December 6. The Miners' Phthisis Commission's report recommends the compulsory medical examination of all miners before employment and every six months. Miner.* medically rejected will be- sent to a .sanatorium at the State's expense. The Miners' Glaiavs Board will find employment for medically rejected miners, and an insmance trust will be established for miners, owueit, in the State each contributing a third of the premiums. Miners will receive free attention and medicine.
