Discussing the letter addressed to Mr McNab by the HawkeVßtay shareholders, Ma- MaSsey stialcl tlie letter was iso cunningly drafted that it was almost impossible to found a libel action upow it. He asked for a defomte charge, and that the men wfoo isigned the letter should isay where ne lilad toDd a falsehood. Eithfer they must prove him (wrong or take theiilr chance in. the Supreme Court.
