The shocking display of bad taste exMibited by Ma- L. M. Isitt over the incident between Mr Masesy audi tib/O late Mn T. E. Taylor lias, provoked! warm condemnation on all l sides. The "Evening Post" of yesterday deals with Ma- Isdtt as follows: "On© of the latest indiscretions, ie in dragging the 'Hate Mr T. E. Taylor into tie Kuii-ly-burly of party politics. Folr. lowing Mi' O. H. Poole's deplorable example, Mr Isitt has insiniiiated
that Mr Massey did not do adequate justice to the memory of the dead mail'—that iMir ' Ma&soy cheriEihed withdrawn. Those who heard Mr Massey'® reference to Mr Taylor, or saw tine report of his words, moist know that Mr Isitt'g' insinuation, is nonsense in* the worst of taste. The difference*' between Mt Ma&sey and Mr Taylor were settled in. all decency long ago. Mr Isitt has grievously' bltadered; he (has put himself in* an unenviable position."
