OPAKI RIFLE CLUB
Th,e Opaki Rifle Club heffl the first of its field cays this season \t-ster-day. The weather was averse to. record smashing, and caused some bad "breaks" at the long ranges, where the wind and 1 light were* both very changeable. The ranges fired at were 200, 500, 600, 800, 900, and 1000 yards, and the scores count for the Club Championship and aggregate. H. R. King carried off the
honours, of the day, gaining, first place in the 200, 500 and 600 aggregate, and ailiso in the 800, 900 and 1000 yards', while H. Mawtey (179)/ scored the highest off the rifle. The detailed scores were:—
