WAR OHEST EMPTY

LONDON, November 29,
Owing to sectional strikes, the Lancashire and Cheshire Miners' Federation war chest has been drained.
It was proposed to make an extra levy of sixpence per week, • but of a membership totalling 70,000, the Majority refused.
