Mr Jam?s Stuckioy, the well-known Hereford breeder, lato of T© Rangituimu, Mas-terton, and now fanning «t Bedford, Norh Devon, England, informs Mr Johinstou, hon. treasurer of tlie Manawatu A. and P. Association , that, ho Bins just obtained l a (handsome challenge oup from tho lingltislh Hereford Society to be presented at the next spring show of tOie Mana.watu A. and P. Association for the best Hereford bull bred in iNew Zealwnd from parents whose ancestors are entered, in the English Hereford book. The caup is to be won three times before becoming the property of th'o winner. Two years ago Mr Stuckey procured a, veiry valuable cup from the EngItsJli Southdiowoi Society for the Mana"vratu Association.
