CATTLE TICK.
IHie announcement that cattle tick has been discovered; among the herds of the orth Island will! create a feeliing of uneasiness in. the minds of a darge number of dairymen' arad others. It is reassuring, in. th'e meantime, to learn from the .Stock Division of .the Agricultural Department that the ticks forwarded them are immune from disease, and' 'are SVo 'security, however,. that thfese miiirabe-carryiiig, parasites 'wilt not become infected, a,s they did in Queen stand. The plague' in the latter country has been so widespread, that the hoipe will bo devoutly entertained, that the tick will mot get a hold in this country.
