THE YEAR'S OPERATIONS. The Masterton branch of Mesrs Dalety .a<nd Co. has received the following letter:— Referring to our wire of November 2nd, the annual meeting of the Company took place to-day and was in every way most satisfactory. We have declared a dividend of 4s per share, being at the rate of eight per cent, per annum payable on November 27th and making with interim dividend already declared and paid 8 per cent for the 12' months ended June 30th. Authority is hereby given to pay same to shareholders on the Oolanial Register on and after date mentioned. Have written off from profits £60,000 to credit of Reserve Fund, which now stands at £40,000. Have also written off from profits £IO,OOO to Benevolent Fund, which now stands at £41,000. Have written £440,000 off Freehold Premises. Balance carried forward after making due allowance for possible contingencies, £81,717.
