Pragnell, W. Oandy, ;T. O. Hoar, F. W. Temple, J. Elliott, and H. J. O'Leary. An apology for abseoioewias received from •Cr J. Prentice. (Mjr 8,. Brown wrote explaining his -actions in .settling the accounts in Hoaniiecrfcion with- the Harbour Board elteotion.—: It was decided to forward -ft oopy of the (letter to the Harbour (Board tfor further consideration. It was ail'so decided to furnish, the local representatives on Ifche Board with, a -copy of ifche letter. A pietitdon was received from a number of ratepayers complaining Ibhait cattle were driven along Kuripuni Street, creating la nuisance.— letter was referred to -Inspector Claims. Mr S. Kingdon,. wrote asking , that > as thel Ooomcil' had allowed him half his rates fliasit year : because his shop and l workshop were unoccupied, the Council do ,so again this year.— The requesit was granted. On the reoommeaicLation of the Engineer, at was decided to purchase anotiher tar boiler and have it fitted at •a cost of £55.
