BRILLIANT ATHLETES.
(Received November 14, 9.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November 14. Jack Donaldson and Arthur Postle ran three extraordinarily" brilliant championship sprints. > Postle won the 80 yds race by a foot in 7 4-ssecs. The competitors were even to 50yds, when Postle broke away suddenly, and Donaldson was unable to catch him. Donaldson won the 100 yds by six inches in 9 3-ssecs. The race was even to 50yds, where Postle again broke away, but the Champion overhauled him on the post. In the 110 yds, Postle looked safe at 100 yds, but Donaldson, by a tremendous effort, won by four inches in 10 4-ssec3.
