THE UNIONIST LEADER.
MR BONAR-LAW APPOINTED. (Received November 14, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 13. The Bight Hon. W. H. Long proposed, and Mr Austen Chamberlain .seconded the nomination of Mr Andrew Bona.r-Law for the leadership of the Opposition in the House of Commons,; and 'he was elected by acclamation. Mr James Buchanan, a distiller, has given the Taaiff Reform League £IO,OOO in consequence of Mr Bonar-La-w's election. Lord Tweed mouth has resigned the Lord-in-Waitingship as he does not sympathise with the Liberal policy.
