The following progranume was given : Opening item, •'Myrene Waitz/' Kaiptfroro Brass Band; songs, '"Bliiithelv Sings, the Lark" and "Merrily Sing," School Children; recitation,,"A Bush Chris*tening," Mr Burton; pianoforte duet "Luoretia Borgia," Miss and Mfi.s» A. Oamjpbell; cornet duet, piano accompaniment, "Silver . Moonligjhft Wands are Blowing," Messrs L. Parker and W. Edwiardis; recitation, "Memories," Mr Buiiton; song, Green Bonnets," Mass' CampBell; recitation, "How Jimmy tended the Baby," Miss Gamphell. Several performers from a distance were prevented from attending. The second piart of the programme consisted of a farce, '•J.'un- in the Kitchen.," which kept .the audience in. a simianer of amusement throughout. The vTarious. c!hairaiC!ter& were we'll sustained by tihe following:— Misses V. and G. Falikner, and Messrs L. Parked 1 , Burton- and Cherry. The remainder of the evening was. devoted to dancing, musio being su.pp.lied by the Kaipairoro Band, and Messris Hbldjswortih, LozeLi and Edwards. A isumtotuoois snipper to® suppJied the ladies', tlhe edibles, provided being thoroughly appreciated. Dancing was. kepttup until nearly 3 a.m., when a kill in the stormi enabled those present to reach home comparatively dry.
