FRENCH RAILWAYS.
(Received November 13, 9.1,j a.m. PARTS,* November 12. Five of the leading railway companies have protested Against the Government's Bill providing for the nomination by the State of directors, ■and the submission of wages and rates for State approval.. \ They declare that the Bill removes the management from, but leaves the responsibility with, them and that if the Bill is passed the companies will demand State acquisition of lines.
