ITS REPEAL TO BE URGED

WELLINGTON, Last Night. Delegates to the number of twentyv 'six, representing the various AntiCbnscription Leagues, the New Zealand Federation of Labour and the Zealand Socialist Party,' met in inference to-day, Mr W. S. Bedjfojrd presiding. It was decided to urge the people of New Zealand to demand %he immediate repeal of the Defence Act and its amendments. The meetiing.decided that weekly reports of the progress of; anti-militarism in New Zealand be supplied to British papers
nnd prominant people at Home, as it J»« was considered that a great deal of in■g/f correct news was sent Home regarding i ™ the movement for and against militarism. The meeting decided to decline to support any political candidate who was not in favour of repealing the clause of the Defence Act.
