The dramatic subjects cover a viery wide range, and many incidents of sensation and pathos are presented. The scenic portion is just as instructive' from an educational point •of view, iaaid the beautjy of the pictures ap~ ipeals to lovers of travel'. To-nighlt's progaiamme .will contain a series of magnificent views of New Zealand's grand mountain and lake scenery, ink duding pictures of Bowteai Falls, Lake MMftord, the- Southern Alps, and glaciers, together with the finest (picture ever taken of New Zealand's /famous "Pilot of tne Straits, Ptelorus Jack," making in .all the best collection of New Zealand scenic pictures ever produced. "The Lust Drop of Wia.ter" is a high class picture by the American Biogn'aph Oomjpany, aaid it very forcibly describes, the \ sandy desert in ali its horrors. "The Rilling Bassion," a photo play out of the ordinary lines, shows some clever acting on the part of two youngsters. The three sconios, "Tree Felling an Norway" and "Manners and Customs of Mlalay," are all good sub. jec-ts, wfliiile the photography is wonderfully denr and pretty. Several. other excellent diramias a-re iricfluded, and the progiramime .will be found to be aniiexceililent one in vail, respects. The children's matinee will 1 - take place on Saturday afternoon, at 2.30 p.m.
