- A seven-roomed dwedfting on the liewly settled' Hauraki Plains, owned by Mr Thomas Glynn, wins destroyed by fir's last nfght. Tho owner was at thief Thames en route to Wan£,v nui to bring his wife and family to their new home. The building was insured im tihe State office for £250, and the furniturfe for .£7O in tihte same office- No one was on the premi res when the fire broke out. <
