The rwnaiuing shoot for Mr Whatman's tirophy took place yesterday (Thursday), wliei* the resoilt was hanging in the balance. Mr W. Taplin had to break his three last birds- to tio Mr H. Allen, who had jr.e\ ionsly finished with 31 kills out of 15 birds. Mr Taplin only got one of the three, which left Mr Allen iflie Vimncr. Following were the
