NEW YORK, October 31

Fowler, an aviator, was caught in a gale, at Tuscon, and crashed into the grandstand on the University athletic field.

Hundreds of spectators were panicstricken, numbers being hurt. None were seriously injured. The machinery was partially wrecked, but Fowler escaped injury.
