AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE.

A meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Amateur Athletic Olub was held last night, Dr N. H. Prior presiding over a good attendance., The usual sports meeting will be held on a date to be fixed during February next. Messrs S. H. Edwards, A. Donald, and G.'R.. Sykes were elected honorary members. A letter was received from Mr R. F. Crosbieasking the" Club to put on a few~events at the Parish Fete to be held on the old Showgrounds in November.— It was resolved to run a 100 yds and 220 yds flat race, and a 440 yards hurdle race.
