THE LATEST RUMOUR.
The very latset rumour from the Empire City is to the effect that, in the event of Sir John Findlay being elected for Parnell, he will become Prime Minister, and that Sir Joseph Ward will assume the High Gommissionership. We give "the rumour for what it is worth. It may have been sent out as a feeler, and to assist the candidature of Sir Johinvin the Parnell election. Frankly, lowever, we do not believe that Sir Joseph Ward has such a -move in contemplation.
