At the postponed Eight-Hour Day sports, the mile cycling championship of Australasia resulted — Grcnda 1 Mutton 2 Dickson 3 Won by two lengths in 2min 12sec. Mutton entered a protest for alleged "teaming." Squires, off 30yds, won the 440 yds all-comers' sprint in 49 3 osec.
