"DOROTHY"

A SUCCESSFUL SEASON.

A most successful season was concluded by the Ma&terton 'Amateur Theatrical Society at the Town Hall last night, when the charming comedy opera "Dorothy" was again produced, before, a large and appreciative audience. Thj& entertainment, a& on the previous night, was gone through without a hitch. The choruses were well rendered, and the acting was exceedingly creditable. Misses. E. Jago and M. Cameron and Mrs A. Banioll proved special favourites, all of them being loudly applauded and encored, and they received a number of floral tributes from admirers in the audience.

The Society is to be heartily congratulated on its achievement. Credit is due to the director (Mr G. C. Branson) wlio maintained complete control over the company.
