THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The'preseut programme at the Foresters' Hall drew another large-audi-ence last evening. An exoeiient range of subjects was presented. Tn dramas, "Silver xbreads Among .vhe Gold" and "Her Sacrifice" were the best. '-A Clever Fraud" was a first rate comedy drama, while "Capturing, Crocodiles" was. a beautiful Pathe production. The Australian and Home editions of Pathe's Gazette were of more than usual interest. The programme, which is one that can be thoroughly recommended, will bt; repeated this evening. {Messrs Thompson and Payne will celebrate the second anniversary of their entertainments in Masterton with, a special /programme on Thursday evening. Since the last anniversary the firm's business ihas increased' to suclx'an extent that they have ibeen compelled to take in band the erection of. a new and up-to-date theatre, in order to meet the increased patronage given to their .popular, entertainments.
