FIRES AT STAMBOUL

SEVERAL HUNDRED HOUSES DESTROYED.

CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 22

Fires are raging at iStamboul, in the Bajeyed quarter, near the Ministries' of War and Finance, and at iCuimcapu, on the Sea of Marmora. Several hundred houses have already been burned.

TWO HUNDRED HOUSES DESTROYED.

CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 22

Two hundred houses aiid shops and a (mosque at Stamiboui were burned down.

The damage is set down at £200,000 sterling.
