CRICKET.

A well attended meeting of those interested in the formation of a Thursday Cricket Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms in Masterton. last evening, Mr C. Ibbetson occupying the chair. It was decided to form a Club, to be called the Y.M.C.A. Cricket Club. The following officers were elected for the following year:— President, Dr. N\ D. Pryor; Vice-Presidents, Messrs J. lElliott, W. H. Beetham, G. R. Sykes, G. R. Ealla, R. E. Jones, E. H Waddington; Secretary, B. Wimett. A general cc-nwnittee was also elected. A social will be hefd on c;; Thursday, November 16th, the process to go towards buying material. A resolution was passed in favour of the revival of the Thursday Association.
