WAIRARAPA ATHLETIC UNION
SPECIAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Wairarapa Athletic Union was held in. the Dominion (Hall last nigUit, siero being present,—OVfe&sra |M. Lavery (chairman), T. G. Hoar (Mangatadnoka), W. Gillespie (Caledonian Society), J. *W. Moßae (Makuri) and A. Thompson (Gladstone.) Apologies were received from Messrs G. R. Sykes, P. Jorgensen, and R. McKenzie. On. xjio motion of the President, an order for transacting 'business at meetings was adopted.
It was decided that each delegate and the secretaries of clubs be supplied w,ith a copy of the Rule Book of the New Zealand Athletic Union. It was resolved that the Wairarapa, Caledonian Society be notified that their programme as presented has been approved, and that the secretary point out that the cycling rules require that the adult competitors in cycling events should be registered.
The secretary wa» instructed to inform' all secretaries of Clubs, and t< point out Rule 13, regarding nomination of competitors to be on precrilbed Athletic Union nomination formis, also as regards Rule 3, referring to approving of programmes.
