OBITUARY.
AN OLD SHIP DESIGNER. (Received October 17, 10.10 a.m.) SYIDNEY, October 16. Mr Norman Selfe, engineer, and designer of the first ooean going steamer built in Australia .also of the three gunboats used bv the New Zealand Government during the Maori War, is dead.
