TAVIUNI DISASTER
MAS'k-R'S CERTIFICATE SUSPENDED. (Received Last Ndgjit, 8.55 o'cloek.) SYDNEY, October 16. - Tih® Court has found that tihe Nena-Tiaviuiii collision was caused by Oaflsfcain Brighton, Master of the Taviuni, failing to keep the steamer in its proper course. Captain Brighton's record showed that during the: eighteen yeans he had been at sea he never previously had an accident. •fudge Murray, in suspending his. certificate for six montihs from the date of the collision, said the Court was sorry to have dealt with the certificate of a master who had hitherto managed his ship without acjcil dent. '
