THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTUREB. The matinee on Saturday afterneon aio the Foresters' Hall was well 'attended, and in the evening drew a crowded house. The programme to-night will contain a, .mammoth selection of the finest gems ,procuraible in tire cinematographic world. The collection includes pictures from the famous studios of the Vitagraph, Edision, Pothe, and American Biograph Oompariieis. Among the dramias are "An Eventful Evening" (dramatised l\v the Edison Company from Richard Harding Davis' well known work), "A Byzantine Tragedy" (a pretty romantic photo play with fine dramatic episodes), and "His Just Deserts" (a particularly fine study). "Midnight Marauders" is a splendid comedy picture by the A.B. Company, and "A Fascinating Bachelor" a breezy Lubin production. "TJie Bakers" is an excellent music hall tt:,rn, and "Sports in Lido-China" an exceptionally interesting picture in natural colours. A number of other fusltHCillaiSs pictures are included in the programme.
