A high wind and driving rain prevailed to-diay, when, the Manawatu Lladies' Open Goli' Tournament was concluded l . In the soira-imails of the championship, Mrs Guy Willianiis beat Miss Pearce, 4 and 'A; and Miss Gorrie beat Miss Gould, 2 up. The final between Mrs Guy Williams and Miss G. Gorrie comimenced after lunch, and in spite of the weather, both played good golf. The match ended in favour of Mrs Wiliiiams by 3 and 2. . . ... . ..'
