A suggestion luais been -mad© that Labour Day should be celebrated in ifcho Wair&rapa on the "People's Day" of the Garter-ton Show. The idjaa is a good, one, if it can be legally given effect to. Possibly if represen.t'a.tionis' were, inade to the Labour Department, arrangements might be miade whereby the holiday could be observed in factories on the Thursday instead of Monday.*
