.. : * ; MONTHLY MEETING. ' ' '' - ! ' ' ( !.'•■■ The monthly meeting of the Mastor'toii District High. School Comra't-te-j was held last night, there being present,— Messrs R. Brown (chairman), J. L. Huglies, E. Prague 1 !, G." T. J. Thompson., A. Hendry, E. H.'Waddingtbn, and A. W' Chap- , man. Tdie treasurer reported a credit balance of £l2 12&. Account® amounting to £2l 6s 9d were passed for payment as funds permit. , A letter was received from Mr G. L. Stewart, secretary of the Education Board, informing Vie Committee that the. Board intended to take further action in connection with the assembly hall. The matter of asphaibting or gravelling the playground was left ini the hands of visiting committee to report at next meeting. Thompson moved that the Bor- . ough Council be asiked-to curb and : channel the-footpath alongside of •.lie-'school in Russell Street.
