[To The Editor.] Sir,— Seeing that you are opposed to the liqmor traffic, would you favour a referendum on State control for the liquor traffic, or are you always against the Government? — I am, etc., ANTI-TITa/E. (When the Government proposes a 'referendum on'the subject of State control, we shall have something to say about it. Meanwhile', State control is not within the realm of ■practical politics.— Ed.
