A GIRL'S DEATH
ALLEGED ASPHYXIATiON. By Telegraph—Prat Association. CmWSIKMiUiMJH, Last Night. Daisy Florence Turner, between 16 and 1 r~years of age, in the service of Mrs Henry Forwood, at- St. Albans, was found dead in bed. this morning. The gas in the bedroom was turned on, and death was apparently caused by asphyxiation. An inquest was opened this, afternoon. The evidence showed that the girl was found dead shortly after seven o'clock, and that a post mortem examination showed that the probable cause of death was >po v isoning by illuminant gas. The Coroner stated that, in view of private medical information given him, lie would reserve his verdict to enable » imicror scopical examination ibeing made of the -girl's night attire.
