Fine warm weather prevailed for ths races yesterday, and there was a large attendance; Results:— High Weight Handicap.— Blast 9.13, 1; Lady Oliven 8.12, .2; Barley Water 9.2, 3. Waverley Handicap. —Sandbath 7.5, 1; Mutilator 7:0, 2; King Bee 7.5, 3. Eleven starters. Won. by 4 lengths, a neok ibetween second and third. Time, 3min. lfsec. 'Dowling Steeplechase.— Hautapu, 11.0, 1; Loch Fyne 11.0, 2; Leah Klesbna 11.6, 3. Minore also started, I>ut fell. The winner led all the" way. Leah Kleshna ran off. Eight starters. Britain,, Bibbenluke and Bridge jumped out together. Bifcibenluke, Accompanied by Grown Grant,-led .the first time past the post, with Trafalgar and Posadas a length .behind. At the mile and' a quarter, Crown Grant showed 1 the way to Trafalgar, Prince Foote, arid Posados. Along the ibaok, Trafalgar took command, and at the half mile led by a good length from Bridge and Posados. He galloped into the straight -two length s ahead of Bridge and iCadonia. The latter then spurted, ibut.was unable to 'catch Trafalgar, who won a splendid race by a length and a half. Bridge five lengths further back. Prince Foote and Bibbenluke 'brought up the rear. Time, 3min. 27seo. , 'Final Handicap.—- Ruringai 8.4, 1; Woad 7.11, 2; Son of Marsh 9.5, 3. Fifteen starters, including Sharpshooter. Won by a liead, half a length 'between second and third.
