Lieutenant Wallingford, of the •Hythe School of Musketry, will sail in November to develop the science of imusketry in New Zealand. The Morning Post says that he, is probably the ibest shot in any of the regular armies of the world.
(Lieutenant J. A. Wallingford, who comes out under engagement to the New Zealand Government, holds the rank of sergeant-major in the British Army. He is a splendid shot. At the National JEtifle Association meeting last year he won the Prince of Wales' Match (seven shots at 300 and ten shots at 600 yards) with a score of 85—the possible. He also won the.Donegall Challenge Cup (same rarges and same number of shots), also with a score of 85.)
