MAN INJURED AT WANGANUI

WANGANUI, Last Night. This evening a man named Frank Thomas, as a result of a railway accident, received concussion of the brain, an injured spnie, and other damages. During shunting operations, he somehow managed to get his foot caught under the guard's van, and was dragged along for over sixty yards. Had the toe of Ms boot,, which ' was all that was holding. him,*slipped, , he would probably have been run Over by the next car.
