PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.
Messrs .Ba'lgety and Co., Ltd.,' held their weekly stock sale in the Pahiatu.j Farmers' yards on-the 3rd inst., when they .offered a small entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. Quotations : Ewes, and lambs to 20s 9d. There was a. keen, demand for steers, and Ave quitted our entry of cattle .at the following prices:— 18month» to 2yr steers, £3 lis; 2£ to 3yr steers-, poor condition and colours, £4 9s; springing heifers,-£5 7s (xl to £6 15s; store heifers, £3 2s 6d
