THE SOLWAY PICNIC.
The picnic to be -tendered by the townspeople of Masterton, on the Solway grounds to-morrow, as a recognition of the .splendid work done by the A. and P. Association in providing a park for the people, promises to be an enthusiastic success. The .arrangements for the gathering are complete, land all tliat (remains is a continuation of the fine weather to en,sur» a (peiifect day for picnicking. .The citizens' will doubtless show, by their presence at Solway in. numbers, that no:; only do they appreciate the provision made for their isaunmer outings, hut they have not forgotten tha 1 . "one, good turn deserves another."
