UNIONIST PROPOSALS
MOTION OF NO-OONFIDENCE.

MELBOURNE, Sept. 22
Mr A. Deakin, " leader of the Opposition in the Federal House of Representatives, has given notice of a motion, condemning the Government over its proposal to grant preference to Unionists in the Civil Service.
The Prime Minister (Mr A. Fisher) has accepted the motion as one of noconfidence.
