CARLTON CRICKET CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING,

The ninth annual meeting of the Carlton Cricket Club was held in the Secretary's office, Masterton, last evening. Mr E. Collinge presided over a good attendance of tmembers. The annual report, was read and adopted. The balance-sheet, which showed a credit of £7 13s 9d, was adopted on the motion of the Chairman. Officers for ensuing year were elected as follow :~Patron, Mr A. : W. Cave; President, Mr W. Piatt; VicePresident?, Messrs B. Iveson B Wyeth, T. H. Douglas, D. Nicholson, | G. H. Sykes, A. J. Welch, D. Caselberg, and C. Corbett; General Committee, Messrs E. Collinge, B. Iveson, E. Welch, H. Waugh, A. Hoar. W. Barvill, S. G. Cresswell, and B. E. Williams; senior match committee, Messrs E. Collinge, F. P. Welch, and A, Hoar; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr F. P. Welch; auditor, Mr N, H. James; delegates to W.0.A,, Messrs E. Collinge, W. Darville, and It. E. Williams; delegates to the N.Z. Cricket Council, Messrs T. G. Hoar and E. Welch. ' ■ It was decided to enter a junior J team for the competitions this year, and that the juniors be permitted to select their own match committee. Mr B. Iveson was appointed scorer for the season. Fourteen new members were elected. The following resolution was carried: "That financial members only be ' taken into consideration, when teams are being selected, and such members only have the use of the Club's material ; if a member in arrears for past subscriptions pay ithis year's subscription he shall be eligible for selection, and be treated as if he had paid up all his liabilities."
