STEAMER MISSING
SUPPOSED TO HAVE FOUNDERED
THE CREW AND PASSENGERS.

SYDNEY, September 19.
A passing steamer sighted weekage consisting of hatches and doors, off Smoky Cape, where the Rosedale was last- seen on Friday, just before a southerly gaJe started.
A steamer has" beeai sent to investigate. It is feared thn-t the Rosedale has foundered with all hands.
Following is the crew:— Captain Emerson; Chief officer, Ferrick; second officer, Dlavies; chief stewardi, Owen; gecond steward:, Hood; cook, Ohaafe ; stewardess, Miss Rafferty ; chief engineer, Harro wer; second engineer, Speer; dankeyman, Palmer; firemen, Kelly, Russell and NordMom; seamen, Janson, Dyer, Whalgren, McDonald and Jack.
'Jtoe passengers are as follow \ — Messrs Anderson, Duncan, Mattammery; Mesdames Murphy aud Cook; and two or three others whose names are unknown.
