PUPILS' CONCERT

A MUSICAL TREAT.

A large audlienee was accorded a '™ re m ™ lcal in Knox Hall, Masterton, last evening, when tihe pupils of Miss Eva Hood, A.T.C.L., gave a most enoyabie concert. The performances of the pupils reflected the utmost credit, on their teacher, borne of the pupils mlade their first appearance in public, and -they acquitted themselves admirably. Many of tihe contributions, were encored. The programme was as follows: Piano duo, "Country people Tilting at the Ring," Miase® N. PragneiU, I. Jones, E. Jones, K. Pownall; two pianos, "March of Marionettes," V. Field and •N. Pragnell; piano duet, "Maypole Diance, ,r V. Hunter and ■Mass E. Hood; Song, "May Morning," Mrs H. J. Francis; two pianos, "Blue Diamond," L. Pownall and R. Elliott; piano sollo, "Remembrance," K. Pownall; violin solo, Hon.-G. Jones; concerto, "Andante wiith Variations," Misses E. Hood and V. CaselbCTg; song, "Happy Song," Mrs Francis; piano solo, "La Fileuse," I. HastweS; violin solo, Hon G. Jones: piano solo, "Gavotte from Mdgnon,"'l. Jones; piano solo, M. Lee and D. Lee; piano solo, "Spinning song," G. Toobv; Concerto, "Polonaise in E Flat,'" Misises E. Hood and I. Hastwell. •
