ASHBURTON, Lust Night. Afflter a tlhree-quarter inch fall on Wednesday, and intermittent, .showers during Saturday night, rain set in again at Asihburton about nine o'clock this -morning, and continued steadily throughout the day. It wall be miast beneficial to the country generally, and a good growth of all vegetation will now rapidly take place. At five o'clock there was no signs of a cessation.
