A hostile crowd at St. Pierre 1' Englise met some Socialist agitators ait the station and severely beat them with sticks. / The Confederation of Labour has issiued a circular to consaript, urging them not to fire upon oiviliialns. The Minister of Agriculture reports thiai the yield of corn is 23£ per cent, above what it was in 1910, and there is a sufficient suppOy for the whole country. . Oi-.i.ng to the high price of fodder, farmers are likely to prefer to market their cattle. Hience the price of meat is diminishing.
